The Gateway COC Community Site.
1. The main page www.gatewaycoc.com.au/blog/ is a moderated blog – authorised people can post to the site, anyone can comment. Comments will be reviewed before being posted to the site.
To ask for access to post to this site, please send an email to Max Loxton.
Note that some old browsers such as IE6 do not allow logon to use the advanced features of this site
2. There are a number of private groups, only registered users can see these. The private groups are unmoderated. Please email Max Loxton to be added as a registered user (the intent is that all church members who use email will be registered). Registered users can
- Read any group and comment to it
- Join a group, and post to it
- Upload files to a group (see the documents tab for a list)
- Create a new group
3. Exclusive groups can also be created, visibility to these is by invitation only.
4. There are a number of other features, currently turned off. Members can leave messages for other members, and forums can be created as discussion boards within groups.
To post to the blog, you must be registered with authority to post.
- The admin pages are at ../blog/wp-admin
- Login as requested
- Select from the left side menu
- Posts – Add a post and publish to make it visible
- Comments > accept or reject comment
